Local Doctors on The Project

Did you catch The Project on Tuesday night? If you did, you might have seen our Director of Urgent Care, Alistair Sullivan, being interviewed about whether it's safe for patients to see their doctor. Here is a part of his response:
"We’ve implemented really good infection control and protection measures for patients, so that we can really confidently say that your risk of being exposed to an infectious illness, let alone Covid, is as close to zero as we can make it."
He also stressed that while virtual consults will remain in place, face-to-face appointments are available to anyone who wants them:
“There are many people that will still need a face-to-face. So the big thing I want to emphasise is that if you think you need to see a doctor, then you should turn up.”
